Returns & Refunds
We want you to be happy with your purchase of Algarve; a Costa. Because each book is carefully packaged and shipped, we do not offer voluntary returns or exchanges simply because you have changed your mind outside the statutory cancellation period described below.
Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel your online purchase within 14 days of receiving your book, without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, please contact us within 14 days of delivery and clearly state that you wish to cancel your purchase.
You must then return the book to us within 14 days of notifying us of your cancellation.
The cost of returning the book is your responsibility. We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged while being returned to us.
The book should be returned in its original condition and with reasonable care taken to prevent damage during return transit. We may be entitled to reduce the refund where the value of the book has been diminished through handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.
Once the returned book has been received, or you provide evidence that it has been sent back, we will process the refund in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Damaged or faulty books
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
If your book arrives damaged, defective, or does not correspond with what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible with details of the problem and photographs where appropriate. We will deal with the issue in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.
No exchanges
We do not offer exchanges. If you have a statutory right to cancel your purchase, the original order will be refunded once the applicable return requirements have been met. A new order can then be placed separately.
